About Petsburgh Pet Care

Kayla Winemiller is a Fear Free Certified veterinary assistant who has been part of the Petsburgh Pet Care team for more than a decade. Originally from Vincennes, Indiana, she attended Vincennes University before transferring to Purdue University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2012.

Kayla enjoys working closely with patients and helping them feel safe and comfortable during their visits. She appreciates the opportunity to support both pets and their families while assisting the veterinary team.

Outside of the clinic, Kayla loves spending time with her partner, Caleb, and her stepson, Landon. Their home is full of animals, including cats, dogs, rats, and chickens. When she has the chance, Kayla enjoys kayaking, hiking, and collecting rocks and crystals.

Bre especially enjoys building relationships with patients and watching them grow and thrive over time.

Outside of the clinic, Bre is a proud Purdue fan who enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bam and Daisy Mae. Whether she’s blasting music on a spontaneous road trip, attending concerts, or spending time with friends and family, Bre is always up for a new adventure.

Nyla enjoys learning new skills in the clinic and helping provide compassionate care to patients.

Outside of work and school, Nyla keeps her faith at the center of everything she does. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and challenging herself as a powerlifting athlete.

Karen takes pride in helping create a welcoming environment for both pets and their families.

Outside of the clinic, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and their two adult children. Her home is filled with rescue animals—five dogs and twelve cats. She also enjoys working in the yard, solving puzzles, traveling, and watching movies.

Megan enjoys helping boarding pets stay active, engaged, and comfortable during their stay.

Outside of work, Megan travels and competes in dog sports including dock diving and lure coursing with her two Icelandic Sheepdogs. Along with her canine athletes, she also shares her home with a retriever mix and multiple cats.

Karen takes pride in helping create a welcoming environment for both pets and their families.

Jackie enjoys supporting the veterinary team and helping ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care during their visits.

Outside of the clinic, Jackie has been married to her husband Brett since 2015 and they have two children, Dominic and Lucas. Their home is filled with animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and even axolotls. In her free time, Jackie enjoys attending concerts, trying new restaurants, and building LEGO sets.

Tricia Johnson is a professional groomer at Petsburgh Pet Care with nearly 30 years of experience. Known for her attention to detail and steady hand with a pair of shears, Tricia takes pride in helping pets look and feel their best after every visit.

Tricia enjoys working with a variety of breeds and helping each pet leave the grooming salon looking their very best.

When she’s not grooming, Tricia enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, two dogs, and three cats. She loves being outdoors and especially enjoys anything related to baseball and cheering on her favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.

Lindsey believes every pet deserves a positive grooming experience and works to help animals feel calm and comfortable throughout the process.

Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the outdoors. She loves camping, cooking, and discovering new places to enjoy nature.

Amber enjoys helping pets look and feel their best while building trust with animals that may be nervous about grooming.

Outside of the clinic, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and taking their dogs hiking. She also enjoys playing video games and has a special love for anything related to animals—or dinosaurs.
