About Petsburgh Pet Care

Kayla Winemiller is one of our fantastic, fear-free certified Veterinary Assistants. Originally from Vinciennes, IN, she attended Vinciennes University and then transferred. In 2012, she graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor in Animal Science. She’s been a part of the Petsburgh Pet Care team for over a decade!

She adores spending time with her partner, Caleb, and stepson, Landon, along with their cats, dogs, rats, and chickens! Kayla and her family are drawn to the outdoors, and when she can, she kayaks, hikes, and collects rocks and crystals.

Jackie, Jaquelyn, or Jax, whichever you prefer to call her, is a phenomenal veterinary assistant here at Petsburgh Pet Care. She is a BFA William Paterson University graduate, Certified Vet Assistant from Penn Foster College, and fear-free certified. Jax was born and raised in Jersey; she has been at Petsburgh since 2014.

She adores spending time with her family, her husband Brett, and two sons, Dominic and Lucas. When she isn’t busy caring for her dogs, cats, ferrets, and fish, she enjoys eating good food, spending time with good friends, and listening to good music!

Karen Keith helps our practice run smoothly! With an associate’s degree in management, she has been a part of the Petsburgh Pet Care team for over four decades.

When she is not running a tight ship, she loves to spend time with her husband and two ‘semi-adult’ children. When not busy caring for her four dogs and 13 cats (mainly rescues), she loves tending to her yard, solving puzzles, and spending time with friends.

Nicole has been working in the pet care industry for over 7 years. Her main priority is ensuring that pets receive the best possible care during their boarding stay. She is currently a senior in the Veterinary Nursing program at Purdue University and has worked at Petsburgh since 2020 as a kennel attendant and a veterinary assistant.

Her favorite things include cuddling with her two black cats, hiking, kayaking, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Crystal Hubbard is a force to be reckoned with regarding a blow dryer and shears! She has been a part of the Petsburgh Pet Care team since 2008 and became one of our groomers in 2014.

When Crystal isn’t busy grooming her pet, she spends time with her boyfriend, son, pitbull, and German Shepard. She loves crafting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors, especially rivers, and creeks. If you need costume recommendations, Crystal is your girl because she loves Halloween!

Tricia Johnson is an artist when it comes to pet grooming. With over 26 years of experience, her skill and shears will leave your pet looking flawless.

Tricia loves to spend time with her husband, two boys, two dogs, and three cats when she isn’t at Petsburgh. She loves to spend time outside and do anything related to baseball.

Lindsey Peterson has transformed pets into Petsburgh Pet Care Inc for nearly a decade.

She loves spending time with her husband, camping with family, and exploring the great outdoors. She also cares for multiple dogs, two cats, and a turtle at home!
