Dog Boarding
Our facility offers more than just boarding; we provide an enriching experience for your dog’s overall happiness. Your pup will feel right at home at Petsburgh Pet Care! Our team strives to create an environment your pet is accustomed to, offering many of the comforts of home. You are welcome to bring your pet’s favorite toys or belongings; however, please mark all items clearly with your name or your pet’s name. While we do our best to keep personal items together, Petsburgh Pet Care cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
High-quality care and strict standards of cleanliness are followed to ensure that your pet is in a clean, safe environment. Despite our rigorous health and hygiene standards, your pet may come into contact with disease or parasites. We will work with you to diagnose and treat any concerns, but we cannot be held responsible for illness related to exposure.
Cat Boarding
Your kitty’s stay with us will be purrfect! We offer individual playtime and enrichment sessions to help keep cats engaged, comfortable, and relaxed during their stay. We understand that cats can be especially sensitive to changes in their environment, so we maintain a dedicated cat TLC room that includes one-on-one snuggles from our team and gentle play with our kennel attendants.

Social Group Play
Our supervised social play sessions provide dogs with a fun and enriching opportunity to interact with other dogs during their boarding stay. Social play allows dogs to stretch their legs, burn off energy, and enjoy healthy interaction in a controlled environment.
New participants must pass a behavior assessment before joining the group, and all dogs must meet vaccination requirements for boarding. Group play sessions occur daily, last up to two hours, and require arrival prior to the start of the session. Additional fees apply. Contact us today to learn more about our social play options!
Accommodations
Biscuit & Treat Bar
Our biscuit and treat bar carries some of the most delicious and healthy treats in the Greater Lafayette area! Pet parents can trust our staff to offer high-quality, safe, and tasty treats for your furry friends. (Additional fees apply)
Feeding
We will feed your pet according to your instructions. We provide Science Diet Sensitive Stomach, or you may bring your pet’s own food. If your pet has special dietary requirements, we will work with you to accommodate their needs.
For the safety of our staff and guests, we do not store or feed raw food diets.
Vaccination Requirements
Dogs
All dogs must have current vaccinations against:
- Distemper
- Hepatitis
- Leptospirosis
- Parainfluenza
- Parvovirus
- Kennel Cough (Bordetella)
- Rabies
- Proof of a negative fecal test within the past year is required.
- Note: Canine Influenza Virus is no longer required but is strongly encouraged for all boarding dogs.
Cats
All cats must have current vaccinations against:
- Feline viral rhinotracheitis
- Calicivirus
- Panleukopenia (distemper)
- Rabies
- Proof of a Negative Fecal test with-in the last year
Note: If you cannot provide written proof of vaccinations from your veterinarian (invoice or medical history record), we will administer required vaccines upon arrival with an exam by one of our doctors. Additional fees apply. Owner-administered vaccines are not permitted. Your pet can be brushed, walked, exercised, or given extra affection as often as you specify to ensure a happy and comfortable stay. If your pet can’t be at home, shouldn’t it be at Petsburgh? Tender Loving Care (TLC)

Medication
Our veterinary team will administer any medication you provide for your pet. All medications must be in their original prescription containers and clearly labeled with your pet’s name and administration instructions. A daily fee applies for medication or supplement administration.
Reservations & Deposits
A reservation must be made to guarantee a place for your pet through Petly. We will call to confirm all reservations. Holiday boarding reservations will not be accepted via email. Please call 765-423-5500 to reserve holiday boarding.
A $75 deposit is required for holiday boarding reservations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Spring Breaks. The deposit must be paid at the time of reservation. New clients must complete the new client form online or in clinic and leave a deposit before a boarding reservation can be finalized.
A seven (7) day cancellation notice is required to claim a deposit and is appreciated even if not requesting a refund.

Grooming Salon
Your pet deserves a day at the spa! The groomers and bathers at Petsburgh Pet Care are experienced in providing stress-free, relaxing grooming services. Our grooming approach considers your preferences, your pet’s coat type, lifestyle, and seasonal needs to ensure the best possible results. If any health concerns are noticed during grooming, they will be reported to our veterinarians immediately, and owners will be notified. Pricing depends on breed, size, coat condition, and style. Pampered Pet Package
This package includes one 15-minute playtime session with one of our bathers, a special treat from our featured menu, and a photo or text update. Playtime helps pets feel comfortable, engaged, and relaxed during their spa visit. Spoil your pet—they deserve it!
Treat choices include Kongs (with cheese or peanut butter), cookies, biscuits, meaty treats, and cat treats.
Bathing Package
Our bathing package includes a:
- Bath
- Blow Dry
- Light Brushing
- Nail Trim (pets requiring assistance from our medical staff due to temperament or behavior will incur an additional charge)
- Optional Bandana and Pet Perfume
- Lots of TLC
- Anal Gland Expression: If requested, anal gland expression is available for an additional fee and is performed by our veterinary staff.
